Paramedic Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles as authorized by the institution.
• Keeping up-to-date work tickets for all assigned vehicles.
• Cleaning and maintaining the hygiene of the assigned motor vehicle.
• Preparing and submitting regular status reports on the motor vehicle.
• Maintaining proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle and detecting common mechanical faults.
• Ensuring maximum security and safety of passengers, patients, and the vehicle on and off the road.
• Adhering strictly to traffic laws and regulations.
• Reporting any incidents or accidents immediately to police and management.
• Supporting clinical teams during emergency and inter-facility patient transfers.
• Assisting in loading and offloading patients safely.
• Supporting life-saving interventions under the direction of medical staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• KCSE Mean Grade D+ (PLUS) or its equivalent.
• Valid Driving License Class D1, D2 free from any current endorsements.
• First Aid Certificate Course.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Cumulative service period of three (3) years work experience at the grade of Driver III or in a comparable position.
• Passed Occupational Trade Test III for Drivers.
