Maintenance Duties
The key responsibilities include:
Prepare surfaces thoroughly for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
Apply paint, varnish, or coatings expertly to walls, fixtures, or equipment.
Perform basic repairs and necessary touch-ups as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
Maintain painting tools and supplies in good working condition.
Follow all necessary safety guidelines strictly when handling paints and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues promptly to management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following attributes and qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (KCSE) is preferred.
Experience: Previous retail or painting experience is considered a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform demanding physical tasks.
Soft Skills: Good communication and customer service skills.
