This role involves coordinating learning activities within the Paediatric PCCN program while providing theoretical and clinical instruction to help students master essential skills. It includes monitoring student performance to uphold instructional standards, developing and reviewing curriculum in line with Nursing Council requirements, and conducting theory and practical tests to evaluate assignments and overall performance.
The position also requires maintaining clinical capabilities through regular practice, taking ownership of one's own professional development, and actively participating in quality programs, clinical audits, and research.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate learning activities within the Paediatric PCCN program.
Provide theoretical and clinical instruction to help students master essential skills.
Monitor student performance to uphold instructional standards.
Develop and review curriculum in line with Nursing Council requirements.
Conduct theoretical and practical tests to evaluate assignments and overall performance.
Maintain clinical capabilities through regular clinical practice.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Higher Diploma in Paediatric Critical Care Nursing.
Certificate as a TVET trainer is an added advantage.
Certificate in EPALS/PALS will be an added advantage.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice licence.
Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Tutor.
