Life Care Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its medical team in Migori. Role Overview
The Orthopaedic Surgeon will be responsible for providing expert medical and surgical care related to the musculoskeletal system. You will work within a team of specialists to ensure patients receive holistic and effective treatment for injuries, diseases, and deformities of the bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments.
Responsibilities
Conduct consultations and physical examinations to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
Perform surgical procedures including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic surgeries.
Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and general practitioners, to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to medical ethics and hospital protocols.
Stay current with advancements in orthopaedic surgery and technology.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
Master's degree in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent specialization.
Valid practicing license and registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Proven experience and expertise as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Strong commitment to clinical excellence and quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
