About the Role
AGL (Africa Global Logistics) is looking for an Operator - Logistics Planning & Documentation (CAD/CAM – GLC) M/F to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. This role supports logistics operations, invoice processing, stock reconciliation, and systems utilization to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Stocking Role
TALO/ CAD/CAM Chassis upload.
TALO/ CFAO and SAP PO creation, goods receipt, and invoice processing.
Monthly Stock Take
TALO/ CFAO stocks audit before stock take.
TALO/ CFAO reconciliation after stock take.
Customs Duty Payments (Tax Payments Processing)
Validation of customs agent declarations.
Preparation of payment requests, including entry, evidence of validation, and cover sheet with breakdown of costs (Duty, excise, VAT as per Finance format).
Preparation of Citi direct upload files.
Invoice Processing
Receiving invoices (port, ex-warehouse, warehouse, accessory, transport, and ANT invoices).
Verification and processing of invoices for approval based on tariff cards or LPO (in case of accessories) with supporting documents.
Preparation of ANT invoicing statistics and drafts to ensure accurate monthly invoicing for all services rendered within the month.
Logistics Planning and Tracking
Alignment of logistics planning with CFAO Sales and Operations processes.
Tracking inventory under intermediate movements (e.g., vehicle units at accessory, suppliers, and demonstration units) based on CFAO LPOs and instructions.
Tracking inventory under intermediate movements using the ANT Yard management system based on CFAO LPOs and instructions.
File Management and Archiving
File management and control of all CFAO & ANT Logistics operations as per approved SOP using SPOT, EDOC, and other approved systems.
Archiving all CFAO & ANT Logistics operations documents as per approved SOP using SPOT, EDOC, and other approved systems.
Systems Super User
Lead the deployment and sustenance of the utilization of onsite systems: Yard Management System, Synertrade, TALO, and ANATA.
Profile and Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Commerce or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Clearing & Forwarding (C&F).
