Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Calibration: Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper working order. Feed specific parameters such as speed, shapes, and sizes through the machine setup box.
• Operational Monitoring: Monitor machines throughout every procedure to ensure optimum running. Perform testing procedures to ensure machines work optimally during production.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift. Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are strictly followed.
• Quality Control: Conduct safety checks on every machine and perform random tests to ensure accuracy. Manage periodic checks on output to ensure production of quality products.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical problems during machine operation.
• Reporting & Logistics: Create and maintain detailed activity logs and provide progress updates to supervisors. Ensure stocks of required materials are available at all times.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum academic qualification of a Grade Test 3 Certificate. KCSE level education is also preferred.
• General Experience: At least 2 years of general work experience.
• Specialized Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience specifically in a machine operator role.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience within the FMCG, Manufacturing, or Construction industries.
