Hessons Consulting Group is a premier consulting firm dedicated to delivering top-tier management, consulting, and professional services. We are seeking an Operations Governance Lead to lead operational governance reviews and ensure consistency and excellence across the organization.
Role Overview
The Operations Governance Lead will be responsible for identifying gaps in accountability and controls, designing governance mechanisms, and driving the standardization of core operational practices to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational governance reviews to identify gaps in accountability, controls, and execution discipline.
Design and embed governance mechanisms, including decision rights, escalation paths, and management cadence.
Drive standardization of core operational practices to improve consistency, quality, and service delivery.
Strengthen control discipline, including documentation integrity, change control, and performance tracking routines.
Facilitate executive and cross-functional working sessions to secure alignment and adoption.
Produce executive-grade outputs and reports for senior leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA) is considered an advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations governance, operational excellence, risk and controls, or consulting delivery.
Demonstrated capability operating at a senior leadership level with strong facilitation and stakeholder influence skills.
High standard of professional writing, documentation discipline, and structured thinking.
Proven delivery record in complex, multi-stakeholder, or multi-site environments.
