Role Overview
The OPD & A&E Nurse In-Charge will coordinate, supervise, and deliver quality nursing care in the Outpatient (OPD) and Accident & Emergency (A&E) Departments, ensuring effective resource management, adherence to clinical standards, and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, supervise, and deliver quality nursing care in the OPD and A&E departments.
Ensure effective clinical resource management within the designated departments.
Guarantee compliance with established clinical standards, hospital protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a high-quality, patient-centered care culture and positive experience.
Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing and support staff within the departments.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or in-charge role, preferably in OPD/A&E.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is an added advantage.
