Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit Children’s Hospital established in 1947. Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is the most established paediatric hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, providing healthcare to children in Kenya as well as those referred from neighbouring countries.
Role Overview
Gertrude's Children's Hospital is looking for an Oncology Tutor to deliver education and training in oncology and paediatric oncology nursing. The successful candidate will facilitate student learning, conduct assessments, and support clinical placements in oncology care.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Higher National Diploma in Oncology/Paediatric Oncology nursing or equivalent
Must have a minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Tutor
Certification as a TVET instructor is desirable and an added advantage
Certificate in any Paediatric Resuscitation skills will be an added advantage
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice license
Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate
