AIC Kijabe Hospital, originally established in 1915 as a small clinic, has grown into a multi-specialty, faith-based facility with a 363-bed capacity. Recently classified as a Level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital, the institution serves patients from all over Kenya and other African countries. The hospital is seeking a dedicated Oncology Consultant to join its expert medical team.
The Oncology Consultant will provide specialized medical care to cancer patients, lead multidisciplinary care teams, and contribute to the hospital's clinical and teaching excellence. This is a senior role requiring extensive experience in oncological practice and a commitment to faith-based service.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
Specialization: Fellowship or Masters in Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology, and/or Radiation Oncology or equivalent, recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Licensing: Must be registered and licensed by the KMPDC and possess a valid private practice license.
Experience: A minimum of 5–7 years’ professional oncology practice experience.
Teamwork: Proven history of involvement in multidisciplinary oncology care teams.
