Job Description
The Makueni County Public Service Board is seeking to recruit a qualified individual for the position of Office Assistant Supervisor/Support Staff Supervisor. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of administrative support services across various county departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of support staff, ensuring that office environments are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
Provide overall management and supervision of the support staff team.
Plan and implement effective support services throughout the organization.
Liaise with other departments and sections on matters pertaining to support staff services.
Supervise other staff members under the officer's jurisdiction.
Assign work tasks to support staff personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
Develop and manage duty rosters for the team.
Supervise the cleanliness of offices and the general office environment.
Requirements for Appointment
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (minus) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A certification in Management will be considered an added advantage.
Possession of a certificate in computer application skills.
Compensation and Terms of Service
Salary Scale: Kshs. 19,340 – 24,470 per month (Job Group "E").
