Role Overview

The Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care across various hospital departments. The role focuses on monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care in accordance with medical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Monitoring & Care: Monitor patient conditions regularly and administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Care Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive patient care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and detailed patient records and medical documentation.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols within the hospital environment.

Requirements

• Academic Qualification: A Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid and current license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a nursing role.
