The Nurse In-Charge will plan, organize, coordinate and supervise inpatient and outpatient nursing services to ensure high standards of nursing care in line with hospital policies, procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise inpatient and outpatient nursing services.
Ensure high standards of nursing care are maintained in line with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
Manage resources, staffing schedules, and nursing workflows.
Maintain professional clinical standards and address patient care issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing; a degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license.
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or in-charge role.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
Excellent clinical, customer service, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
