Job Description
Equity Afia is a network of qualified medical entrepreneurs providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare to the majority of Kenyans. We are seeking to recruit six (6) Nurses to join our clinical team at our Kiserian Medical Centre. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and utilizing digital health systems to maintain accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical nursing care to all patients.
Maintain accurate patient records using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
Support the medical team in clinical procedures and patient management.
Ensure compliance with the standards and regulations of the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Monitor patient vital signs and progress, reporting any changes to the medical team.
Ensure a sterile and safe clinical environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
Registered and with a valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
At least one year of internship clinical working experience.
Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
