Non Rotary Equipment Mechatronics Field Service Engineer

Your Mission

• Execute Mechanical, Electrical works and Automation troubleshooting (e.g., cable wiring, mechanical installation & adjustment, PLC program logical analysis).
• Operate on Mechanical systems and HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate on Electro-Mechanical systems and HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
• Properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Submit regularly the working time and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules.
• Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites.

Your Profile

• Graduate of Mechatronics Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years of working experience in related field activities.
• Consolidated technical background on Mechatronics / Electromechanical systems.
• Knowledgeable with basic PLC management (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi / Fanuc Robot / B&R / Schneider).
• Knowledgeable on Pneumatics, reading electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings and line layout.
• Able to travel (up to 90% in international environment).
• Experience in the beverage industry or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of Sidel Portfolio is an advantage (Overwrapping, Packer, Palletizer, Depalletizer or similar).
• Knowledge of the process machinery downstream of Sidel equipment.
