Role Overview\nSidel is a leading provider of packaging solutions for beverage, food, and personal care products. We are seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer (FSE) for Non-Rotary equipment to join our team in Nairobi. Your mission involves executing mechanical works, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment at customer plants meets technical and safety specifications. This is a highly mobile role requiring up to 90% international travel to support Sidel's global customer base.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Execute mechanical works and troubleshooting, including mechanical installation and adjustment.\n- Operate mechanical systems and HMI (Human Machine Interface) for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\n- Operate on Electro-Mechanical systems and HMI for diagnostics and regular maintenance.\n- Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.\n- Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.\n- Submit regular working time and technical reports regarding all carried-out activities.\n- Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction through technical excellence.\n- Perform activities in line with the SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer-specific site rules.\n- Report after-sales opportunities (parts, service, or upgrades) detected on customer sites.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.\n- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in related field service activities.\n- Strong mechanical background with consolidated technical knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems.\n- Knowledgeable in Pneumatics and capable of reading electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and line layouts.\n- Experience in the beverage industry or an equivalent FMCG environment.\n- Knowledge of Sidel's Portfolio (specifically Depalletizers and Palletizers) is a major plus.\n- Knowledge of process machinery downstream of Sidel equipment.\n- Ability to travel up to 90% in an international environment.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Sidel recruitment portal using the link provided below.
