Job Description
Role Overview
UNICEF is seeking a National Consultant for Public Finance for Children (PF4C) to support the Public Financial Management (PFM) Donor Partner Group (DPG). The consultant will facilitate coordination among stakeholders, manage knowledge resources, and provide technical support for budget analysis and policy documentation related to the National Treasury and the PFMR Secretariat.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously update the PFM DPG SharePoint site, ensuring all documents, resources, and archives are well-organized and accessible.
Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and logistics for PFM DPG meetings and stakeholder engagements, ensuring timely communication and execution.
Support the co-chairs and Secretariat in developing, updating, and monitoring the PFM DPG annual work plan.
Produce high-quality minutes, summaries, and action trackers for PFM DPG meetings and events, promptly uploading all outputs to SharePoint.
Collect, curate, and file key documents including reports, analyses, policy papers, and correspondence to maintain an up-to-date knowledge repository.
Follow up with co-chairs, thematic leads, and DPG members to ensure timely completion of action points and contributions to joint deliverables.
Provide logistical and organizational support for the PFM Donor taskforce.
Coordinate contributions to joint documents, ensuring clarity of requests, timely submissions, and quality control for the Chairs and National Treasury.
Support the analysis of budgets and documents related to the work with the PFMR Secretariat and the National Treasury (Office of the Principal Secretary).
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Communication, Public Policy, Planning, or Finance.
Demonstrate strong economic and data analytics skills.
Demonstrate high proficiency in IT skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
