Mediacrest Training College is looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Trainer to join its faculty. The successful candidate will deliver practical training, mentor students, and facilitate a deep understanding of M&E frameworks.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive training on Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) systems.
Instruct students on core concepts including Logframes, Theory of Change, and Data Collection methodologies.
Facilitate lessons on Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Reporting, and Data Visualization.
Provide mentorship and supportive guidance to students to ensure they gain industry-relevant skills.
Demonstrate and teach the use of relevant M&E software such as SPSS, STATA, or KoboToolbox.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their educational development.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or Monitoring & Evaluation.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in M&E, MEAL, or Data Analysis roles.
Training Skills: Prior training or teaching experience is considered a strong advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of Logframes, Theory of Change, and data collection processes.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in relevant tools like SPSS, STATA, or KoboToolbox is a plus.
Communication: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
