Performance Analysis: Produce detailed variance analysis that distinguishes between brand-mix effects and one-off financial items.
Credit & Loan Book Monitoring: Manage the loan book, analyze cohort-based repayment behavior, and take full ownership of provisioning and bad debt trends.
Lender & Treasury Compliance: Lead lender reporting, ensure covenant compliance, manage drawdown documentation, and support due diligence processes.
Commercial Partnership: Work with the commercial team to interrogate OEM economics, model new product launches, assess supply agreements, and build financial cases for board and grant proposals.
Process Design & Automation: Design and implement financial tools, workbooks, and automated controls from scratch while ensuring compliance with IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IAS 21, and revenue recognition standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Professional Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA-K, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
Experience: A demonstrable track record in finance management or a senior finance role, including hands-on ownership of statutory and management reporting cycles.
Technical Knowledge: Deep, applied knowledge of IFRS standards (specifically IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IAS 21) and the ability to manage audit processes from end-to-end.
