The Makueni County Public Service Board is inviting applications for the position of Medical Services/Medical Specialist I - Anaesthesiologist. This is a specialized medical role responsible for preparing clinical anesthesia plans, administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital parameters during surgical procedures, and managing post-operative recovery and pain management in county healthcare facilities.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Master's degree in any of the following fields: Medicine, Anesthesia, Radiology, from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Registration certificate by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
- Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme Course or its equivalent qualification lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
