The Medical Scheduler role is responsible for coordinating caregiver shifts and ensuring consistent care delivery for home health services.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate daily caregiver shifts.
Ensure full coverage for open or last-minute shifts.
Maintain consistent communication with caregivers regarding availability.
Handle a high volume of calls while responding to text messages.
Take accurate physical and digital notes for each interaction.
Update and manage schedules using Google Sheets.
Maintain CRM records and personnel files up to date.
Support general office duties and uphold BrightStar Care’s values.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scheduler (Home Health preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent; a Diploma is preferred.
Strong multitasking and phone-handling skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
Proficiency with Google Sheets, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
Experience as a caregiver, CNA, or PCA is a plus.
Full availability for the scheduled hours (not suitable for students).
