Role Overview
Signature Healthcare Limited, an ISO 9001:2015, WHO-GDP, and Blue Certified company specializing in the importation and marketing of pharmaceuticals, is seeking a Medical Representative to join their vibrant team. The role involves promoting and selling products to increase awareness, provide advice, and introduce new products into the market. The successful candidate will manage the complete sales cycle, including demand creation, sales execution, delivery follow-up, and debt management, ensuring the company's image is upheld at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
Demand Creation: Conduct visits (calls) to clients including prescribers, pharmacies, medical facilities, and institutions.
Strategic Execution: Implement corporate, divisional, and individual strategic plans.
Order Management: Strategically book direct and transfer orders from clients and follow up on orders via the office or distributors.
Relationship Management: Ensure optimal customer satisfaction and maintain a detailed, current client listing for your territory.
Market Coverage: Optimally cover assigned regions (base and out-station), mapping each client to maximize business gain.
Market Intelligence: Conduct prescription audits from major pharmacies and gather intelligence as required by marketing SOPs.
Professional Conduct: Represent the company with professional attire, eloquent detailing, and strong product knowledge.
Sample & Promo Management: Ensure rational utilization of pharmaceutical samples and promotional items under a valid medical representative license.
Events Coordination: Organize and facilitate Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions and round table meetings, following up for returns on investment.
Reporting: Attend training sessions and participate in mock detailing challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.
Experience: Prior experience in sales with a proven enthusiasm for sales and marketing.
Licensing: Possession of a valid medical representative license (required for handling pharmaceutical samples).
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, leadership acumen, and problem-solving skills.
Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, adaptability, and strategic vision.
