The overall purpose of this job is to conduct planned and routine machine preventive maintenance and run diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance: Update checklists, analyze machine running hours, grease machinery, check oil levels and temperatures, verify firmness of foundation bolts, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety.
Breakdown Response: Promptly respond to breakdown notifications from operators; check for abnormal sounds, temperatures, and vibrations to ensure optimal machine operation.
Schedule Compliance: Ensure that maintenance schedules are met within budget, on time, and at the required quality and safety levels.
Inventory Tracking: Properly track equipment/tools spare parts inventory and escalate for re-ordering as necessary.
Improvement & Modification: Modify machines after installation to improve performance.
Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks to fix leakages during the installation of new machines or pipelines as required.
