Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic Heavy Commercial to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing requirements, performing maintenance, and executing repairs on heavy commercial trucks, trailers, and other machinery to ensure optimal fleet availability, reliability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assess requirements and propose, in consultation with the workshop manager, the specifications for parts and materials needed, as well as the duration of repairs and maintenance.
Carry out assigned mechanical works.
Undertake preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, trailers, and other machines.
Account for materials and parts used during repair and maintenance.
Maintain general cleanliness of the mechanical section and its surrounding environment.
Observe security and safety measures for all tools, parts, materials, and equipment under your care.
Rescue trucks on transit on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles.
