Girwa FM is a licensed radio broadcasting station operating in Dholuo that runs lifestyle and entertainment programs, with coverage across Homa Bay, Migori, Kisumu, Siaya, and surrounding counties.
Role Overview
The Marketing & Commercial Manager will lead the commercial growth of Girwa Radio by planning and executing effective sales and marketing strategies, managing key relationships, leading the commercial team, and driving advertising revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Drive advertising sales and corporate partnerships.
Lead the sales and marketing team.
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
Build relationships with government, NGOs, and corporate clients.
Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
Experience in media sales is an added advantage.
