About the Role
As the Manager, Technical Solutions, you will be a key leader in the world’s cybersecurity leader, Palo Alto Networks. You will lead a team of Solutions Consultants within your territory to drive technical excellence and ensure the success of the company's security platform. Your primary impact involves recruiting top-tier talent, mentoring employees to foster career growth, and providing high-level technical leadership during complex customer interactions, ranging from technicians to CIOs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and people management to accelerate growth and drive platformization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor Solutions Consultants, ensuring they remain engaged and successful in their careers.
Technical Validation: Lead and coach the team on technical validation efforts based on best practices to secure technical wins in assigned opportunities.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales counterpart (Domain Specialist Manager) to develop technical strategies that accelerate growth, identifying key verticals, markets, and use cases.
Customer Engagement: Act as an expert advisor to customers at all levels (technician to CIO), sharing security trends, best practices, and positioning products against competitors.
Collaboration: Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure seamless customer implementation and adoption of solutions.
Product Feedback: Partner with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to define product requirements based on feedback from large customers.
Escalation & Support: Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Travel: Commit to 50-75% travel within the region to support customer engagements and team development.
Requirements & Experience
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Managerial Experience: Proven experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager.
Professional Background: Experience as a Senior System Engineer or Specialist in the cybersecurity field.
Technical Knowledge: Deep industry knowledge of security product market trends, competitor offerings, and technical development efforts.
Domain Expertise: Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions in Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on high-impact presentations.
Attitude: Quota-driven mindset as a trusted advisor to clients.
Language: Proficiency in English is essential.
