Etihad Airways is seeking a Manager Sales based in Nairobi. In this role, you will perform, coordinate, and execute sales activities for special accounts to reach sales targets and contribute to achieving Etihad's revenue objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining business relationships and identifying new opportunities within assigned customer segments.
Accountabilities
Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with assigned current and prospective customers to generate revenue for the organization.
Portfolio Oversight: Overview, manage, and liaise with your own client portfolio to ensure sales target achievement.
Communication: Communicate and meet regularly with relevant accounts to inform them about new products and promotions to increase sales.
Fidelity Techniques: Identify and implement fidelity techniques to ensure long-lasting, fruitful business relationships with major accounts.
Client Needs Analysis: Identify and collect customers' needs to create the best offers, ensuring positive sales conclusions.
Negotiation: Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with assigned trade and corporate segment accounts, respecting corporate guidelines.
Monitoring & Risk Assessment: Coordinate and monitor product and service sales for individual clients to identify risks to target achievement and implement corrective actions.
Market Scanning: Scan the market and analyze potential client characteristics to identify revenue potential for Etihad Airways.
Requirements
Education: Minimum High School certification or anything above (i.e., vocational certificate / Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field (Sales Area).
