The Manager for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Credit is responsible for ensuring effective value-adding risk management within the Credit Evaluation process. This includes managing and approving credit applications for the CIB portfolio within acceptable parameters to help Stanbic Bank Kenya achieve asset growth targets while maintaining a high-quality lending book through robust Credit Risk management.
Responsibilities
Manage and approve credit applications for the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) portfolio.
Ensure effective value-adding risk management of Credit Evaluation.
Maintain a quality-lending book through judicious and effective Credit Risk management.
Support CIB and Stanbic Bank Kenya in achieving asset growth targets within acceptable parameters.
Oversight of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements pertaining to Credit and Lending Risk.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree (First Degree) in Business Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in the banking sector.
Regulatory Knowledge: Detailed knowledge and experience regarding risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements and guidelines pertaining to the Bank and Credit and Lending Risk.
Product Knowledge: Extensive banking and bank product knowledge, with management experience in Banking Client and product solution environments.
