Standard Bank Group is looking for a Manager, Audit to execute the audit process effectively within relevant stakeholder environments. The primary purpose of this role is to independently and objectively provide assurance and advice that enables client-centric risk management.
Responsibilities
Execute the audit process effectively within relevant stakeholder environments.
Demonstrate a clear understanding to independently and objectively provide assurance and advice that enables client-centric risk management.
Analyze and interpret data and understand IT controls.
Maintain Internal Audit (IA) professional practices.
Manage audit projects and handle report writing.
Apply IA technology and data analysis tools.
Qualifications and Experience
A first degree from a recognized institution.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is required.
5-7 years of general business and/or audit experience.
Specific experience working with data, including analyzing and interpreting data and understanding IT controls.
Competencies
Behavioural: Checking things, developing expertise, documenting facts, examining information, interacting with people, interpreting data, meeting timescales, team working, and upholding standards.
Technical: Audit project management, audit report writing, IA data analysis, IA technology application, internal auditing, and maintenance of IA professional practices.
