Fanikisha Micro Finance Bank is a non-deposit taking Microfinance institution that currently advances loan facilities to Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loans Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating and processing loan applications while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to our lending policies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Identification: Identify potential clients and market various loan products to attract new business.
Credit Assessment: Evaluate and appraise the creditworthiness of clients through financial analysis and data review.
Field Visits: Conduct home and business premise visits prior to loan disbursement to verify client information.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients to collect all necessary information before granting loans and assist them in filling out loan application forms.
Relationship Management: Develop referral networks and foster trust to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Needs Assessment: Assess customer needs and explore available options within our diverse loan products.
Portfolio Management: Review delinquent accounts and maintain a low portfolio at risk (PAR).
Debt Recovery: Conduct ongoing debt collection and recovery efforts for the loan portfolio.
Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison officer between clients and Fanikisha Microfinance Bank.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a loans officer or similar financial services role.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship management.
Competencies: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with solid knowledge of credit assessment and loan processing.
