Librarian

As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for a school based in Mukuru-ini, Nyeri, our client is looking for a librarian who will be responsible for setting up and organizing a school library, maintaining accurate records of all books, guiding students on reading practices, and fostering a strong reading culture among learners.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Organize and manage the school library.\n* Maintain records for all the library resources.\n* Monitor the borrowing and returns of library materials.\n* Mentor and guide students in the selection of reading materials.\n* Ensure a clean and organized library environment at all times.\n* Submission of monthly reports on library activities.\n\n### Qualifications\n* A minimum of a Diploma in Library Science or Information Science or a related course.\n* Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.\n* Passionate about working with students.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested candidates are encouraged to submit a CV and cover letter to: , with the subject by 8th May 2026.
