Mama Ngina University College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Lecturer, Nursing - Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing. Employment for this position will be on permanent and pensionable terms, remunerated as per the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and 2021-2025 CBA approved salary rates.
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent Doctoral degree in Critical Care and Nephrology, Nursing Education, Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University;
OR
Hold a Master’s degree in Critical Care and Nephrology, Nursing Education, Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University with at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or in research or in industry;
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited and recognized University;
A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers;
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and have a valid practice license;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Progress towards completion of PhD will be an added advantage.
