Egerton University is seeking qualified academic professionals for the position of Lecturer Grade 12 (Human Rights Law) under reference EU/ARE/2026/0704.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing, conducting legal research, supervising students, and participating in departmental academic activities within the specialization of Human Rights Law.
Academic/Professional Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants MUST meet the requirements of either Option A or Option B:
Option A
An earned PhD in Human Rights Law from a recognised university.
Option B
A Master’s degree in Human Rights Law from a recognized University.
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or in research/industry.
A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
