Egerton University is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Lecturer Grade 12 (Commercial Law) under vacancy reference EU/ARE/2026/0703. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, conduct academic research, publish in refereed journals, and contribute to the growth of the Faculty of Law.
Salary Scale
Lecturer Grade 12: Kshs. 121,928.00 – Kshs. 187,710.00 per month
Academic and Professional Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
Option A
An earned PhD in Commercial Law from a recognised university.
Option B
A Master’s degree in Commercial Law from a recognized university.
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or in research/industry.
A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
