Job Description
Kenyatta University is a multi-campus public university in Kenya seeking to recruit a Lecturer for the Department of Environmental Studies and Community Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and providing academic leadership within their area of specialization. This role requires individuals who are committed to academic excellence and possess the requisite experience in higher education or relevant industries.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Background: Must possess a Masters degree in relevant areas of specialization from a recognized University.
Teaching Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level, or equivalent experience in Research or Industry.
Alternative Teaching Experience: Candidates with four (4) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution will also be considered.
Advantageous Qualification: A PhD degree in a relevant area of specialization is a significant added advantage.
