Kenyatta University is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join the Department of Educational Psychology as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and providing academic leadership within the department. This role involves engagement with students across various levels and potentially across different university campuses.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in Educational Psychology and related areas.
Conduct original research and contribute to the department's academic output.
Supervise student research projects and provide academic mentorship.
Participate in the development and review of the curriculum.
Engage in administrative duties within the department and the university at large.
Provide academic advising and support to students.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant area of specialization from a recognized University.
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level, in Research, or within the industry.
Candidates with four (4) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution will also be considered.
A PhD degree in a relevant area of specialization is a significant added advantage.
