The Lecturer - Curriculum Development/Studies at Zetech University is responsible for designing, developing, planning, and delivering high-quality academic programmes to students. The position plays a key role in enabling students to complete their studies successfully while supporting university growth. Additional duties include conducting and managing research projects, participating in consultancies, publishing scholarly work, offering mentorship, and contributing to community service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of study programmes, including new courses at various academic levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
Regularly review and update course content and teaching materials.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research initiatives.
Carry out research and write grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancy work.
Present research papers at national and international conferences.
Disseminate research outputs through publications.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or outlined in the detailed job description.
Qualifications and Experience
PhD in Curriculum Studies from a recognized/accredited University.
Master's degree in Curriculum Studies or a related field from a recognized/accredited University.
Bachelor's degree in Curriculum Studies from a recognized/accredited University.
Be registered or registrable with a relevant professional body (where applicable).
Minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
Proven commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
