The role of a Learning Guide is central to creating dynamic, joyful, and rigorous educational experiences. You are expected to be a curious, compassionate, and committed educator who believes in the inherent brilliance of every learner. You guide with both heart and intention, focusing on nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and community within the classroom.
In this role, you ensure that learners feel seen, heard, and challenged to grow. You must be reflective in your practice, responsive to learners' needs, and fundamentally rooted in the belief that education serves as a pathway to liberation.
Key Strengths and Responsibilities
Responsive and reflective practice: You must regularly reflect on your teaching methodologies, actively listen to student feedback, and adapt your approach quickly to meet the evolving needs of learners.
Learning facilitation & instructional skill: Create dynamic, inclusive learning experiences that effectively spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and challenge students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications and Experience
TSC certified.
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Education.
At least 5 years teaching experience.
Teaching experience in an International school is an added advantage.
