Job Description
As the Learning and Development Intern at Java House, you will play a supportive role in enhancing employee growth and development across the organization. This position involves managing training logistics, maintaining records, and assisting in the delivery of learning solutions to ensure a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities
Training Coordination: Schedule training sessions and communicate information about training events in a timely and professional manner to ensure the business is kept up to date with learning and development activities.
Material Management: Assist in ensuring that all training material is up to date and relevant.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate training records for all employees and manage the Learning & Development Matrix.
Evaluation: Assist in conducting training evaluations (pre- and post-training) to determine the effectiveness of various development programs.
Employee Engagement: Support the analysis, action planning, and monitoring of Employee Engagement surveys. Help develop specific action plans to address issues identified through focus groups.
Needs Identification: Work with relevant leaders and Training of Trainers (TOTs) within Java House to identify needs and deliver appropriate learning solutions.
Data Maintenance: Maintain precise data on all development initiatives, including PDP data, TNA Documents, Training Schedules, calendars, and attendance logs.
Culture & Relations: Assist in promoting positive employee relations by fostering an environment of open communication, trust, respect, and fun.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with L&D developments by reading relevant resources, attending meetings/courses, and building professional relationships.
Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
A University or College degree in a related discipline is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
High level of responsibility and reliability.
Ability to work effectively within a cohesive team environment.
