This role is for a Land Survey Assistant III within the County Government of Kitui, offered under Permanent and Pensionable terms of service. The primary purpose of the position is to execute foundational technical surveying duties essential for the county’s topographical mapping, boundary management, and infrastructure development projects.
Salary Scale
Ksh. 26,900 rising by increments up to Ksh. 35,380 per month.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Carrying out angular and distance measurements and computation necessary for small density topographical surveys.
Assisting in Site Engineering tasks.
Supporting General Boundary surveying and demarcation activities.
Executing Photo control surveys.
Requirements for Appointment
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a Citizen of Kenya.
Hold a Diploma in Land Surveying from a recognized institution.
Possess a Certificate in Computer Applications.
