Baker Hughes is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Nairobi. In this role, you will be responsible for applying scientific research and development within a laboratory environment. You will execute routine analyses using established methods and technologies, contributing to technological developments within teams under supervision. This position requires someone who can resolve technical problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent and collaborate effectively with business units.
Responsibilities
Apply scientific research and development practices within a lab setting.
Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies.

Resolve technical issues and problems by applying acquired expertise and following industry precedents.
Work closely with personnel from the business unit to specify activities, plan tasks, and provide technical explanations.
Maintain regular communication with the direct team and supervisor regarding metrics, project status, and research findings.
Present findings and updates to internal teams effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Proven experience in Engineering or Technology fields.
Practical experience working in a laboratory environment.
Demonstrated relevant experience within the Oil and Gas or Energy/Power industry.
