Job Description
Maseno University is seeking to recruit three (3) Kitchen Attendants for a fixed-term engagement of six months. The roles are intended to support the university's catering operations by maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and assisting in food service delivery. This is a short-term contract aimed at individuals who are dedicated to the hospitality industry and capable of working in a busy institutional kitchen.
Responsibilities
Assisting kitchen staff in cleaning and maintaining the orderliness of the food service areas.
Handling basic food preparation tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor.
Washing and sanitizing kitchenware, equipment, and dining utensils.
Ensuring the kitchen floors and work surfaces are kept clean and safe.
Supporting the unloading and storage of food supplies.
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess relevant academic and professional qualifications for a kitchen support role.
Submission of an updated Curriculum Vitae.
Possession of all relevant academic and professional certificates and transcripts.
