CDL Human Resource is seeking a Key Accounts Head (Sales) to drive growth and build brand equity within assigned Key Accounts. The role is centered on achieving sales volumes, revenue, and operating income targets for a broad range of products including beverages, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, cereals, and fresh produce.
Role Responsibilities
Client & Brand Growth: Grow the client's business while building brand equity with Key Accounts.
Sales Targets: Ensure achievement of Sales Volumes, Revenue, and Operating Income for the entire range of products (Beverages, Canned Fruits/Vegetables, Juices, Cereals, and Fresh Produce).
Strategic Planning: Provide and implement Annual Business plans for all assigned Key Accounts chains.
Negotiation: Draw up and negotiate Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and supply agreements with Modern Trade Accounts.
Inventory Management: Manage Demand Planning Accuracy to ensure all accounts/stores are fully stocked according to the DM range and categories per SKU, providing accurate sales forecasts.
Financial Oversight: Manage the timely collection of Account Receivables from assigned Key Accounts chains as per the trading terms.
Marketing & Pricing: Prepare and execute Key Accounts Marketing programs designed to enhance consumer brand equity and awareness while monitoring trade pricing.
Systems & Reporting: Utilize Sales Automation and CRM Tools; manage new product listings and sign-off on annual JBPs.
Requirements
University degree in Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration (with a bias in Marketing) or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred 2 years of working experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
Detailed understanding of core sales capabilities: order generation, delivery, merchandising, and account development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a pleasant, results-oriented, hardworking, and persuasive individual.
Ability to think strategically and present ideas in an organized manner.
High energy, drive, enthusiasm, and a positive mental attitude with a proven track record of achievement.
Must hold a clean and valid driving license with at least 3 years of continuous driving experience.
Ability to conclude tasks in a timely manner under little or no supervision.
Well-versed in MS Office with a demonstrated ability to carry out data analysis and generate requisite reports.
