This position is about owning the performance of key retail accounts end-to-end. It requires a balance of strategic thinking, execution discipline, and strong relationship management to strengthen long-term partnerships and drive accountability through well-executed Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
Key Responsibilities and Impact
Revenue Growth: Turning strategy into measurable revenue outcomes and driving commercial performance across key accounts.
Strategic Partnerships: Building long-term, value-driven partnerships with retail clients and strengthening strategic relationships.
Planning and Execution: Driving accountability through the execution and tracking of Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
Operational Excellence: Ensuring in-store excellence, from visibility and merchandising to product availability and distribution.
Data-Driven Optimization: Leveraging data and insights to optimize account performance and identify new opportunities to grow account value.
Requirements
Experience: 4–7+ years’ experience in key account management, retail, or FMCG.
Track Record: A proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts.
Communication: Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Mindset: High ownership, accountability, and attention to performance metrics.
Analytical Skills: A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
