Stellar Human Resource Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Junior F&B Cost Controller to join their team in Nairobi. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in accounting or hospitality management who have experience in controlling costs and managing inventory within a Food and Beverage environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee food and beverage cost control processes.
Manage inventory levels and perform regular stock control assessments.
Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and expected costs.
Utilize hospitality-specific software to track materials and sales data.
Prepare analytical reports to assist management in financial decision-making.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience specifically in F&B cost control or inventory management.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Opera PMS, MC (Material Control), Micros POS, and SUN Systems.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of food costing principles, stock control, and variance analysis.
Skills: Excellent analytical skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
