Job Description
The IT and Operations Manager at HelpAge International will play a critical leadership role in strengthening operational excellence and ensuring that robust, secure, and effective IT systems support the organisation’s mission. Working closely with colleagues across the Business Support Department and global teams, the post-holder will provide strategic oversight of operational services, digital tools, and technology infrastructure that enable the delivery of HelpAge’s Strategy 2030.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight of operational services, digital tools, and technology infrastructure.
Manage risks and incidents related to IT and operations.
Support organisational change and digital enablement within an international or multi-country context.
Ensure robust, secure, and effective IT systems support the organisation’s mission.
Collaborate with global teams and the Business Support Department to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements and Qualifications
A BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in operational management, IT strategy, and digital enablement.
Experience working within an international or multi-country context.
Ability to support organisational change.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage risks and incidents effectively.
