Inventory Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute daily inventory control activities.
• Ensure full execution of cycle count programs to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shrinkage, lost items, and inventory variances.
• Maintain accurate and timely system records for all inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Inbound, Outbound, and Procurement teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Ensure proper labelling, storage, bin allocation, and compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Escalate slow-moving, excess, damaged, or near-expiry inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, operational SOPs, and audit requirements.
• Maintain warehouse organization through proper stacking, clear signage, and clean storage areas.
• Monitor and control stock damages, variances while ensuring accountability and timely reporting.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or fulfilment center management.
• Experience with ERP/WMS or inventory management systems is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in physical stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, shrinkage control, and warehouse best practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools.
