Job Description
Kenya Ports Authority is pleased to announce 194 internship and apprenticeship vacancies across various departments for a period of one year, effective from April 2026. The objective of the internship/apprenticeship program is to provide young adults with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the real workplace environment.
Role Overview
This one-year program allows graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical port environment. Interns will be assigned to various departments within the Authority to learn about maritime operations, logistics, and corporate administration.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this program, an applicant must:
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be not more than 27 years old.
Have graduated with a first Degree (Undergraduate), Diploma, or Certificate from a recognized institution between January 2023 and December 2025.
Have not undertaken any internship program or been exposed to any work experience related to their area of study since graduation.
Not have retired or exited from formal employment.
