Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Gathering and collating financial data and reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of funds utilization.
• Checking on budgetary controls to maintain financial discipline.
• Ensuring compliance with set budgets and organizational work plans.
• Carrying out audit checks and thorough verification of payments.
• Preparing audit observation reports based on findings.
• Participating in the preparation of internal audit reports.
• Participating in the preparation and implementation of annual work plans, budgets, and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any other related disciplines.
• Professional accounting qualifications of CPA (K)/ACCA or its equivalent.
• Registration and membership to a relevant professional body.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya regarding integrity.
