Job Description
The County Assembly of Bungoma is inviting applications for the position of Human Resource Management Intern (3 posts). This role is designed to support the Human Resource Management function of the County Assembly in the administration of HR systems, staff records management, recruitment support, and the implementation of HR policies and programmes in line with the Assembly's Human Resource Management framework and applicable public sector HR regulations.
Responsibilities
Support the administration of HR systems and processes.
Assist in staff records management and filing systems.
Provide administrative assistance during recruitment and selection processes.
Aid in the implementation of HR policies and programmes within the Assembly.
Ensure compliance with the Assembly's HRM framework and public sector regulations.
Perform other HR-related administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a Kenyan citizen aged between 18 and 35 years.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management (HRM Option), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
Must have completed studies within the last two (2) years.
Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel) is required.
A Recommendation / Introduction Letter from the institution of learning is mandatory.
Student membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Kenyan labour laws, including the Employment Act 2007, and public sector HR regulations is an added advantage.
